Business Development Rep recruitment, onboarding and training, including providing all resources for future recruitment and onboarding.
We only have limited capacity to take on one new customer per quarter for this service. The quarters start in January, April, July and October. We only work with customers who we believe have a high probability of success from the service we provide. We operate on a first pay, first serve basis.
We guarantee that we will provide all of the agree resources including building your lead generation, lead nurturing, prospecting and sales systems. These will all be delivered and signed off by you.
We will also recruit one or two business development reps (BDRs) for you, as well as onboard and train the reps to prospect opportunities and book sales meetings for you. You can either employ these business development reps on a freelance, part-time or full-time basis. If you require additional support to train and manage your BDRs following their onboarding we can provide this on a consultancy basis that starts at £3,000 per month.
We provide no guarantees of results from this service. We will provide the framework and systems to generate results, you will need to manage and optimise the systems to deliver results consistently. We will provide ongoing training through the Consultancy Growth Club in how to manage and optimise the systems we have built for you.
It takes four weeks to build your lead generation system following completion of your checklist workshop.
Typically it then takes four to six weeks to generate the agreed number of leads from the point at which the advertising goes live. If your market is slow, you haven’t identified a strong enough message-market fit, or the cost per click is high in your market, it may take up to twelve weeks to generate all the agreed leads from the point at which the advertising goes live. It takes this time as the LinkedIn algorithm takes time to learn the best performance for your audience, and we have to learn how your adverts are performing in relation to message-market fit.
It is unlikely that you will generate any sales opportunities within the first 90 days, as we will need to recruit, onboard and train your business development rep, who will be responsible for qualifying leads and booking sales meetings for you. Due to this you can expect that sales meetings will start getting booked in the second 90 day phase.
You will generally start receiving leads within the first week of the campaign going live. The volume of the leads you receive will depend on the performance of your campaign.
Your time required for the set-up
- Allow approximately 20 hours over eight weeks for input into and reviews of the materials we will produce for you.
Your time required ongoing
- Lead review calls - 1 hour per month (2 x 30-minute calls
- Customer success calls - 1 hour per month (1 x 60-minute call)
- Pipeline review call - 1 hour per quarter (or more frequently for higher service levels)
- Sales time for lead follow-ups and related sales activity. (Depending on your lead volumes and growth appetite, 8 - 20 hours/month)
We will build the system in the first 90 days and train you to manage it from there. You will have the Consultancy Growth Club to support you with the ongoing management and optimisation of the systems that we build for you.

Our customer accounts are confidential, so we can’t show you one of their accounts in action. However, we use the same service for our own business, as it is where we test all of our new ideas. We will be delighted to show you as much as you want regarding how this works for us.
We can either build out your systems in Hubspot. You will require Hubspot Sales Pro and Hubspot Marketing Pro. Alternatively we can build your systems in the Consultancy Growth Club CRM, that is £100 / month + VAT.
We only support these two systems. If you would like to use a different system we recommend that you use the Consultancy Growth Club and apply what you learn into your preferred CRM system.
